14. Floating panels
Overview
Five pit-wall-style floating panels can be displayed on top of the dashboard. They open from the buttons at the top of the standings: ⊞ Intervals, ⬡ Circuit map, Ø Pace, ⛽ Fuel and 📓 Log. Each panel is draggable (drag the title bar) and resizable (drag the bottom-right corner). Position, size and open/closed state are remembered between sessions, independently for the Race and Dashboard workspaces. In the app, the ⧉ button on each title bar detaches the panel into a real Windows window to drag onto a second monitor — it stays synchronised live and closes with the application.
Info
Reference bike: the Intervals and Pace panels analyse the reference bike — the first bike selected in the standings (can be changed via the "Reference" selector in the chart options).
Intervals
Shows in real time the gaps of the reference bike within its category: gap to the leader (amber), to the bike ahead (red) and to the bike behind (green). Gaps are displayed in seconds as long as the gap between the two bikes is below one lap — including when both are "+N Lp." behind the leader — and in laps ("Lp.") beyond that.
Circuit map
Displays the track layout with the estimated position of every selected bike, continuously animated. The reference bike appears as a white dot with a coloured halo; other bikes are coloured by category (EWC amber, SST green, PRD blue). The circuit is selected from the title-bar menu: Spa-Francorchamps, Le Mans, Suzuka, Paul Ricard.
Status bar (top): the current flag (coloured badge — green, yellow, Safety Car, red…) and the reference bike's current-lap intermediate times (S1 to S3, S4 at Suzuka). Info bar (bottom): reference bike number, rider currently on track, race position (P) and last lap.
Track markers: the start/finish line (white tick), the racing direction arrow just after the line, and the sector boundary points (S1, S2…) at fixed positions, calibrated on each circuit's official map. At Suzuka, bikes follow a continuous line through the figure-8 crossover.
Warning
Estimated position: without GPS, each bike is simulated with its own average speed (median of its recent laps): position = time elapsed since its last line crossing ÷ its lap time. The dot automatically re-syncs at every start/finish crossing. A bike in the pits is held at the line, dimmed. Accuracy within a few seconds.
Pace — reference bike
Summary of the reference bike's pace in 6 indicators:
| 5-lap rolling avg | Rolling average of the last 5 timed laps of the current stint |
| Stint filtered avg | Filtered average of the current stint — identical to the "Filtered avg" column in the standings (excludes in/out laps and slow laps, adjustable threshold) |
| Bike filtered avg | Same filtered average, applied to all of the bike's stints since the start of the race |
| Best stint lap | Best lap of the current stint |
| Best bike lap | Best lap of the bike since the start of the session |
| Best stint avg | Best filtered average across all completed stints (minimum 3 timed laps) — the stint number is shown underneath |
Info
Tip: compare "Stint filtered avg" with "Best stint avg" to judge whether the current stint matches the pace of the best stints of the race.
Fuel — remaining quantity
Shows the estimated remaining fuel for every selected bike: coloured gauge (green > 30%, amber > 15%, red below), litres remaining and number of laps still possible. The calculation assumes a full tank at every stop: remaining = tank capacity − current stint laps × the bike's average consumption (see the Fuel consumption tab). Tank capacity is set in Settings ⚙ (24 L by default — 2026 EWC regulations).
Race log
A time-stamped race logbook: quick buttons record events in one click — 🌧 Rain, 🚗 Safety Car, 🟡 FCY, 🔴 Red flag, ⚠ Incident, 🔧 Mechanical — and 💬 Free note opens a text input. Each entry is stamped with the race time at the moment of the click and can be deleted with ✕.
Info
The log follows the race: it is kept per race (automatically reloaded with the matching snapshot), included in the JSON export (shareable with the team), appended as the last section of the PDF report, and exportable on its own as text (⬇ Export).
